My favorite class? Math, although at some points challenging I thoroughly enjoy learning about new algebraic concepts and seeing how previous learned concepts come together to help me solve a specific program. I have for some time now enjoyed this subject. It is the easiest for me to follow, I like numbers not words so it has been challenging to try and interpret written math word problems instead of formulas. However I find that faculty at Thacher are very helpful in this aspect, you can pretty much go to any math teacher and he or she will be willing to sit down with you and work through a problem. I can’t believe we are so close to Thanksgiving break, I can’t wait to go home and spend quality time with my family. One great thing about being away from home for months at a time is that when I go back I value it much more. I feel relaxed and home is my safe haven, away from the hard work of Thacher, because although enjoyable Thacher provides a challenging environment and going home to have that time away to spend with my family is incredibly rewarding.
