Molly Perry

My relationship with Thacher began when I was only 2 years old. My parents moved from the East Coast to teach here, with my two siblings and me in tow. I attended Thacher, and then left for college, telling my parents in no uncertain terms that Ojai had seen the last of me.  Well, after college, graduate school, and a few years cutting my teaching teeth teaching at another California boarding school (yes, that one right over the hill in Santa Barbara!), I was lured back to Thacher when I married my husband (and fellow Thacher alum), Derick Perry. I teach Spanish, run the Community Service Program, and advise sophomore girls.  My story, as many good stories do, comes full cycle: Derick, our two daughters, and I live on campus, in the very same house I grew up in. I couldn’t be happier, for I know that this place is home.
