Twenty years ago I came to Thacher after teaching English in a public school, an independent day school, and an international school. In my time here I’ve also been Director of Drama, English Department Chair (presently), and Dean of Faculty.
These days I am excited to be teaching sophomores and juniors. When not in the classroom, I teach students how to work with draft horses, coordinate the Anacapa Scholars and Fellows program, and help out in the admission office. My wife Susan is the director of the Monica Ros School down the hill from Thacher. Our daughter Olivia is a proud alumna (CdeP 2007), and our son Grady is a present senior.
