After one year teaching at a boarding school in my home state of Massachusetts, I moved to Thacher ready for an adventure. In the years that have passed since our arrival, I have learned from and become part of this amazing community, which has fostered my growth as a science teacher, coach, and outdoor enthusiast. Along the way I have coached soccer and lacrosse, earned my masters degree in science education from Montana State University, married my best friend, adopted two massive and goofy dogs, and taught biology and chemistry. When I’m not in my classroom, on the athletic field or on a camping trip, I love making jewelry, taking photographs, working in my garden, or trying to teach myself to knit.
