Math has been one of my favorite classes this year. My teacher is Mr. Okin, and he’s one of the best math teachers I’ve ever had. I had ridden a little bit with Mr. Okin last year as a freshman in the horse program, so I knew a little bit about what he was like, but I had no clue how he would be as a math teacher. I think he’s a great teacher because he’s really good at explaining things, he’s enthusiastic when we’re learning new material, but he also makes it fun when we’re going through the boring stuff. I see Mr. Okin everyday in the class room, and almost everyday when I ride. I think it’s great how well you get to know your teachers, because you interact with them not only in the classrooms, but often on the playing fields and in this case, even out on the Gymkhana field.
