Last week, the best part of the musical began: the choreography. This year we are doing Rent for the winter musical, and on Sunday, we began choreographing La Vie Boheme, which is one of the big ensemble numbers. It was REALLY fun, but boy was it overwhelming. My mind was buzzing with shoulder rolls, points, getting up on chairs, getting down from chairs, and all sorts of things for the next few days. Tomorrow we continue this train of choreography by getting started on the opening number (aptly titled Rent!) and I’m sure it will be just as busy and exciting as last week. Who knows what will be in store for the next few rehearsals!
