On Tuesday, the girls’ varsity tennis team lost our match against Whittier. This match unfortunately took us out of the CIF playoffs, and therefore ended our season. Yet while it was sad to realize that I would not play another match with my doubles partner until next year, it was a good chance to look back on the season we had. The majority of the players were very new to tennis, and considering that, we had a remarkably successful season.

That is one of my favorite things about Thacher: that you can come across a varsity team with very little experience, that can have as much fun as we did this year, and still have a successful season. With that in mind, I cannot wait for next year.

And for now… on to SOCCER!
