People ask me all the time why I chose Thacher. The main reason I explain is because of the balance between academics, sports, community, teachers, not to mention the perfect weather!

It’s hard to explain the reasons behind such an intangible feeling of why one loves a place, but when its fits, you just know. Going away to school is a very personal choice, and if you do go away, you should be sure that you fall in love with the campus, the curriculum, and the school atmosphere.

Thacher is rare because it provides so many opportunities in nature, hiking, camping, riding, all combined with high caliber academics and fully devoted teachers. I am so glad I made the choice to come here.
