Thacher Everywhere

Today when I went into Ojai, I hopped on the van not knowing what I was really going to do in town. I ran into a couple of seniors on the way, and ended up spending a good chunk of the afternoon with them. When we arrived in town, we took a quick stop at the Ojai Coffee Roasters. When we arrived, I saw a family who had just been visiting Thacher for an interview. I recognized them from last year, when I toured them. They were very kind and talkative, just my kind of people. We chatted for a bit, then left them to their lunch. Next, we visited the grocery store and bought some classic high school student groceries. As we were walking back towards the center of town, a Thacher faculty member pulled up next to us in her car. We said hello, then quickly communicated that we were going to a store that was pretty far away. We then ran and jumped into her car and she drove us there. With all of the bags of groceries in hand, it might have looked like we just robbed a store according to a bystander. We proceeded to cruise down the main drag and when we arrived at the next store, we were greeted by five Thacher students who were exiting the building. When we got inside, we immediately ran into a Thacher riding instructor. When I saw her, I realized how many Thacher people we had seen in the past 20 minutes. At this moment, it occurred to me, Thacher is Everywhere.
