It is an unusually cloudy day here in Ojai– kind of refreshing after all that heat. Senior fall has been progressing very fast. One of my favorite parts so far has been my dance class. Our primary teacher just recently travelled out of the country with five dancers to participate in a Chinese dance festival. While they were gone, the rest of us trained with a new local dance teacher. We all experimented with new styles like hip hop, improv, and interpretive. It was intimidating at first, but we all had fun trying to follow the fast pace of our teacher. We are very eager to apply these new moves to our more traditional-style dance class. We are even more excited to here the tales from our friends’ adventures in China!
