When I opened the Thacher website for the first time I saw the horses, then a beautiful sunset, and then a teacher-student relationship. These photos summed up my reasons for choosing Thacher. The campus was like nothing I had ever seen, and the horse program seemed to call out my name. Most importantly however, was the education and the relationships developed between teachers and students. My second visit solidified all of these reasons for coming. I got to watch a horse riding demonstration, see the campus, and sit in on classes. Why Thacher? You will find your own reasons but one thing is true, Thacher is special to everyone who decides to say YES!
