The reason I chose Thacher is because of type of balanced life that the students here lead. Academics, arts, athletics, and a strong community are all part of daily life. Going to Thacher means that you don’t have to sacrifice high quality academics in order to have a welcoming community. Thacher provided the sense of balance that I was looking for in a school.

Another incredible thing about Thacher are truly the teachers. They are dedicated, innovative, and passionate. Developing working relationships with your teachers is definitely a highlight if the Thacher experience. While I had known that the teachers here were wonderful, I did not fully realize how nice it is to be able to sit down with a teacher before every essay and to get extra help easily and comfortably.
