Lots O’ Updates!

zoom_photo254318_3192499Wow! It’s been a while.

First thing to talk about would definitely be the success of the winter musical, a performance of Monty Python’s Spamalot.

This was actually my first time in a major role and I definitely had a blast playing “The dashingly handsome Sir Galahad”. Managing to crank out a massive show in such a short period of time was definitely one of the more challenging things I’ve done at Thacher. The musical was hilarious, the crowd was fantastic, and it was very tough trying to juggle between rehearsal, academics and working on the independent. It was super rewarding at the end, and sad to see the Seniors in the cast say their last goodbyes to the acting department.

We’ve cut out more than half of our new trail during our independent. (For those of you who missed out on what that’s about, go to thachermountainbiking.blogspot.org) Head on over to the blog to see what the fuss is all about! This is the result of 11 weeks of hard work since the start of the winter trimester, and I’m excited to share the results to the school with my partner, Grant.

Other than that, impending finals and a killer amount of work this weekend leave me no choice but to say farewell, for now.

See you all soon!
