I welcomed in 2013 from a snowy condo in Ketchum, Idaho. I spent a long time thinking about how great the previous year was, and an equally long time thinking about how to make the coming year even better. I decided that with my time at Thacher coming to an end, I would need to try to spend as much time with the friends that I have made here over the past three and a half years as I could. In addition to just spending time with them I need to cherish the moments with them, for example playing guitar and singing as we watch the sun set over the Ojai Valley, and time on the basketball court with my teammates. In the end, this is what Thacher is built upon, the relationships between students. My resolution is to strengthen mine with other students in the hopes that it will solidify the structure that the rest of the community is dependent upon. Hopefully I can help make 2013 the best year yet!
