It’s the New Year!

Hello again, dear friends!!

Wow, a lot has happened since my last post. Mainly, musical, independents, and 2013!

I trust that everyone had a relaxing holiday, and managed to get away for some fun! Personally, I hit up some of the ski resorts on the west side of Lake Tahoe, and had a great time. After the break from school it’s time to get back to work. First day of school, and everything is going full speed ahead! All my courses are loading it up with new material and I’m already getting out of that “holiday haze” everyone seems to be stuck in.

No matter. Let’s get into it.

Musical rehearsals are in full swing, and it looks like everyone is hard at work on the show, which WILL turn out awesome! For those of you not in the know, we’re doing Spamalot from Monty Python’s The Holy Grail this year, and I play the character Sir Galahad. It’s an incredibly funny show, and I can’t wait to get it on the road in February.

My personal independent is also progressing very well. Again, for those not in the know, I’m working on a part mountain biking, part trail building project. Me and a buddy, Grant, have already completed the first part of the project, clearing the NK Chase trail, and we are now beginning the second phase, building our own. You can catch onto some of the fine details on our blog: thachermountainbiking.blogspot.com

But now that it’s the new year (and the world didn’t end – not that I had any doubts), I have but one resolution:

Work hard, play hard, and simply appreciate the fact that I am lucky enough to be with these wonderful people at the Thacher School.

Until next time!
