After concluding my Latin career at the end of my junior year, I decided it was time to delve into another language. I chose Spanish as I had taken it throughout middle school and had thoroughly enjoyed the experience. As the first trimester is coming to a close I’m thrilled with my decision to take Spanish. It has given me an opportunity to build upon my Latin experience. Secondly, it has given me a forum for me to interact with the freshman, an opportunity I might have otherwise not had. Lastly, our teacher Mr. Hooper is fantastic. He leaps around the table, is clear in his explanations, and truly makes the language alive. I can’t wait for next trimester!
