And So It Begins.

It’s the start of another school year! Summer went by incredibly quickly, and I’m still trying to wrap my head around the fact that it’s junior year (aka, OMG-I-Have-a-ridiculous-amount-of-work year).

Okay. It’s really not that bad.

Granted, it’s certainly challenging, and I’m definitely going to have to step it up in terms of academics. It should be quite exciting, juggling academics of this level with sports and leadership positions.

The gun club has had two shoots this year, and there’s been an incredible freshman response. Rarely do you get five or more freshmen with shooting experience, and all of them do know how to handle a gun! I know it certainly wasn’t like that my freshman year, and I’m very interested to see who stays on board and who doesn’t.

The fall play has also been announced. It’s called the Rimers of Eldritch by Lanford Wilson, and it deals with false morality in a small, mid-western town set in the 1960s. Should be quite interesting, but I don’t think I’m going to audition simply because of my academic schedule.

I’m very excited about this year, and what new adventures it brings! Until next time.
