When I was first hearing about Thacher and the many things that make it such a wonderful place to live and grow, I always heard about the teachers.  Students told me about babysitting for them, and how they would meet with you any hour of the day.  This past week, I was talking to a teacher about a friend whose birthday was coming up.  I really wanted to bake her a cake, but as Casa does not have an oven, I thought I was out of luck.  While talking with this teacher, without hesitation, she invited me over to her home.  We had so much fun backing the cake, and it was truly an “only at Thacher” moment.
