AP Psychology reading, calculus problems, researching my civil wars country, working on AP studio art portfolio, finish my English writing assignment…Oh, and don’t forget: make your star of the week poster! Yes, this was indeed added to the to-do list this past Sunday. Being a freshman girls prefect, we have started a new tradition in the dorm. Every week a prefect randomly picks a freshman to be star of the week and makes a colorful poster full of photos and fun facts! You may think this kid of thing has long gone by the time you hit high school, but this small gesture makes a world of a difference. Star of the week is the most looked forward to part of our usual Sunday night dorm meetings and if we skip a week, we get girls begging for us to pick it back up! While many may laugh, us girls down in Casa couldn’t ask for anything better!
