We’re back to school and we’ve already been thrown into the thick of things. Senior year has become a juggling act between senior leadership duties, academics, extracurriculars, senior exhibitions, and college applications. This past week, my friend and I took a break from the college applications and our looming homework to shoot some photos for my AP Photography class and portfolio. We hiked up to the observatory above campus and shot a couple photos as the clouds stood ominously in the distance. Getting back outside reminds me why I love Thacher so much. The hills behind campus provide an unparalleled location, where you can simply walk out into the wilderness. They provide a beautiful backdrop to our daily life and another place of refuge from the busyness of Thacher life.
