On Sunday, I am leaving for horse camping in the Sespe! All of the students are in anticipation of Spring Extra Day trips. From the Sierras to the Sespe and back into our neighboring Los Padres forest, there is adventure just waiting to happen. However, the experience will be much different than the Fall trip to Golden Trout Encampment. Last time, I was camping only with my fellow freshman girls, but now I get the chance to get to know girls and boys of all grades. Hearing my prefects talk about the mishaps and joys of their previous camping trips makes me both nervous and excited. Who knows what awaits my camping trip and what nature has in store for us. Maybe it will rain or the weather will treat us well. Thacher kids will just have to wait and see.
