Into Art

This past weekend I headed down to LA to visit LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) and the LA Farmer’s Market for a cultural weekend trip. We wandered around the museum with Mr. Robinson (who teaches AP Art History at Thacher) acting as our personal docent and showing us the works of Rembrandt, early Picasso, and Warhol. It was quite the enlightening experience as Mr. Robinson’s vast knowledge of every artistic period, from Renaissance to modern, helped us understand what we were looking at.

On the way back up to Ojai, we stopped for Chinese food in Westlake. It was the perfect way to have a cultural experience and spend some time outside the Thacher bubble.
