Little Bits of Sunshine

I  woke up this morning feeling very anxious about the day ahead. Right away, in first period, I had a history presentation about slavery, and my partner and I were very worried about our timing. The time we were supposed to be shooting for was 14:00, and last night we must have practiced at least seven times, and we were always either over, or under. Now we only had one chance left to get it right, in front of the whole class! Not only that, but I knew that today I would get back an Envi Sci test that I took after being sick for a week, so I wasn’t very confident in my score. To top it all off, my schedule for the day was classes from 8:30-1:40 straight. No free periods, No lunch! I didn’t know how I would make it.

Well, my history presentation ended up being flawless, and when we checked our time, it was a perfect 14:03. I got back my AP EnviSci test, and my score ended up being an 88%. And to make things even better, my EnviSci class got out early so I even had time for lunch. Sometimes, even when things look grim, life seems to surprise you with little bits of sunshine like that.
