This summer I’ve spent a good amount of time with my family in Marysville. I have been able to kick back with all my sisters and brothers and have some summer fun. This includes chasing after ice cream trucks during the day, barbecuing at the park, or staying up late to play Charades and Twister. In July I was enrolled in a summer program at Stanford and took creative writing for three weeks. It was challenging and rigorous, yet fun. I also met a soon-to-be Thacher freshman at Stanford and we became great friends! Amidst all this excitement and fun, however, I have missed Casa de Piedra dearly. I am looking forward to reuniting with my fellow sophomores as well as meeting the new faces on campus!
