Thacher Dancers in the Spotlight
Dance Magazine has featured Thacher’s Dance Ensemble in their video of the month for August, 2012. The featured piece, Progressions, is set to music by James Newton Howard CdeP 1969 and was choreographed by Gallia Vickery, director of Thacher’s dance program.

The Chamber Singers received a Surperior rating for their performance at Heritage festival at Disneyland. This was their opener – a Maori welcome song.
Pentatonix at Thacher
Thacher students enjoyed a workshop and performance with Pentatonix – winners of NBC’s Sing Off. After a q&a and demonstration, the group taught students their arrangement of “Somebody That I Used To Know.” The workshop was followed by a dynamic performance by the top a cappella vocal group in the country – Pentatonix!
