Dave Marsten reports, “Big news here is we had to pull out our old Zinfandel vineyard as the drought had blighted the grapes…..so we are replanting…..and this time we will try a Bordeaux blend (Cabernet Sauvignon with some other blends). So it will be a long, expensive haul to bring this up to fruition…..at least three years from this Spring. Would that I will live long enough to see the results.” His classmates eagerly await the fruits of his, and wife Cathy’s, labors.
