I am living in Memphis, Tennessee and working for the Shelby County School district on the Farm to School program. We build school gardens and use them to get kids excited about eating healthier. In recent years Memphis has been named both the hungriest and fattest city in the US, so we have our work cut out for us. It gives me hope though, when I have kids jumping up and down over spinach, carrots, cucumbers, and peas in the garden.
