While in Dresden last month, I was privileged to examine in the Treasure Chamber of the Saxon State Library the best preserved of the three existing Mayan Codices (Paris, Madrid, Dresden). Although the ultramodern library will celebrate December 21 with an End of Time Apocalypse Party, my reading of Codex Dresdensis is that we should make it through safely to 2013. Just wanted to reassure you.
