Lincoln Hollister ’56

Posted on September 15, 2016 by Alumni & Development Staff

I was recently honored by having a new mineral named after me! Hollisterite has the simplified chemical formula Al3Fe. It occurs in the meteorite, Khatyrka, that fell in Russia more than 8000 years ago. I am a very active member of a team working on deciphering its history. Lincoln Hollister CdeP 1956
