During a weekend of performances, lectures, workshops, and conversation, we will explore the importance of stories to personal and cultural identity, and the multiplicity of ways stories can be made and shared. Between Thursday November 14 and Sunday the 17, venues all over the Thacher campus will showcase the talents and expertise of storytellers from around the globe who use film, performance, imagery, text, song, space, movement, technology, and spoken word to convey their tales of truth and fiction.

What could happen in the Thacher community over a weekend fortified with this interdisciplinary group of eager professionals ready to share their work and experiences?  Arts Weekend 2013: The Power of Story will provide an invigorating environment of exchange, learning, and fun, inviting students and faculty to investigate further how and why we tell different stories in distinct and engaging ways.
