I heard about Thacher from family friends.

So far, what I like best about studying and living at Thacher is that there are so many wonderful resources here, and they are all so close (literally within walking distance)!

My favorite class at the moment is My favorite class at the moment is American Studies because it blends together US history and English. I really enjoy the connections we draw between the two areas of study. Also, we discuss and debate very often in this class, which I love!

One person at Thacher who has positively influenced me is my riding instructor Mr. Duykaerts. He has not only helped me become a stronger rider, but has also taught me patience.

My advice if you are thinking about coming to Thacher, but are worried about living away from home, is if you like the school enough, it is completely worth it.
Your home will always be there for you, but now is your chance to expand your world and challenge yourself. What you get in exchange will make it all worth the while…
