Better late than never: I successfully completed my Master of Education in Professional School Counseling in June 2019. It was a challenge paired with working full-time, parenting 3 kids (still at home), and getting a divorce. But I have learned the true meaning of the saying, “That which does not kill you, makes you stronger” (as well as the importance of friend and family support). I have never felt more successful and capable than I do right now. Spending my spare time working with my local Moms Demand Action chapter, looking for a new job, and figuring out what dating will look like in my 50s. May you all find your North Star and keep heading toward your true calling, and may that journey be filled with joy and contentment.
