I’ve been loving my new job at The Richmond Neighborhood Center, a San Francisco nonprofit providing free and low-cost after-school programs, food pantries, home-delivered groceries for seniors, and neighborhood events. Since I last wrote in 2016, I became a founding member of the SF chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America, and I’ve been proud to see it grow to more than 1,000 local members, win two ballot measure campaigns (with two more and a Supervisor candidate on the ballot this November), aid our homeless neighbors, support striking workers, and fight against police brutality, among numerous other campaigns.
