Sandy and I are ecstatic with the arrival of our first grandchild, Phoebe Sternberg (daughter of Claire Faggioli CdeP 2002 and Daniel Sternberg). We were recently fortunate to spend time in Hawaii with our son and daughter-in-law, Nathaniel CdeP 2000 and Stacie. Clay Pell CdeP 2000 also joined us for a few days.

I am having a wonderful experience as Chair of Save the Redwoods League. The League celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. I also recently joined the Board of C. Mondavi & Family (Charles Krug and C. K. Mondavi), the oldest winery in the Napa Valley.
