After much training and a recent stint working two jobs as a lead in a start-up and as a research faculty, I am now an Associate Professor and Chief Medical Officer of the Antibiotic Resistance Action Center at the George Washington School of Public Health in DC. I am passionate about improving public health through human microbiome research and tracing sources of antibiotic-resistant bugs from the environment. I also enjoy working with corporations and public agencies on public health issues, such as how to use antibiotics more judiciously.
