I was recently hired by a fellow Toad, Mary Everett Bourke CdeP 1981, to work with her in development at the Oxbow School, a semester-based arts boarding school in Napa. Thanks to Mimi Van Son, a former Thacher staff member, for recommending me! I joined Mary in pouring our respective wines (Hale Mary and Darioush) at the Next Peak gathering in SF in September, what an amazing turnout of Toads of all ages. Great fun to catch up with fellow classmates Heidi Evans Girardoni and Paul Bressie, whose son James just started as a freshman. My daughter, Sydney CdeP 2017 is now a freshman at the University of Portland, double-majoring in Nursing and Spanish. Meanwhile, our daughter, Olivia CdeP 2018 is hard at work on those college apps with expert guidance by the Thacher college counseling staff. Bittersweet that this is our last year!
