This year has been full of lovely changes! Though I have kept the hotel and restaurant in Otavalo, Ecuador, I started a M.A.-TESOL program here in California… where I met an amazing woman, Gwyn, an acupuncturist and Chinese medical practitioner from Portland. One thing led to another and I proposed… and she accepted. We have settled in Visalia with our daughter Rylee. Ecuador will continue to be a core part of life, but we will most likely blend work there with ESL teaching here in the Central Valley of California.
