Henry is receiving an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army after a term of service that spanned several years, including a humanitarian rotation to North Africa and a combat tour in Afghanistan. SPC Field served as a senior combat medic on patrols in Eastern and Southern Afghanistan. He intends to return to coastal Maine and officially retire from being blown up and shot at. He is thinking about taking up gardening.
