John Busterud ’72

I retired this past year as a Colonel in the Army Reserve after a 24-year career and multiple deployments in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom as well as extended service on the Korean Peninsula. With all this spare time on my hands, I still manage to keep busy at PG&E with climate change regulatory policy and service on US EPA’s Clean Air Act Advisory Committee. Over the past year, I’ve also managed to reconnect with many classmates, including Alan Silbergh ’72, Bill Dawson ’72, Grant Harmon ’72, Tom Bard ’72 and Fred Euphrat ’72. This may have something to do with an epidemic of 60-year-old birthday parties!
