Thanks to Mr. Shagam, I decided before leaving Thacher to become a teacher. After a few years as classroom teacher and assistant principal, I have spent the last 25 years as principal of Alianza Charter School. It has been a great experience, and I have been most fortunate to work with a wonderful community of students, parents and teachers. I will be retiring at the end of this school year, and look forward to new challenges and endeavors.
