Our second son was born in December, and last spring my wife Laila won a Peobody Award for her documentary on Bangladeshi garment workers. I published my fourth book, Misquoting Muhammad, which was named one of the best books on religion in 2014 by the Independent. I miss all my Thacher friends and was so happy to eat at Mark Nonoyama’s restaurant, visit Tommy Thornhill at Yale, and will crash with Josh Zannon in SB in the not too distant past. Otherwise I’m just professoring away at Georgetown.
