After my year at Thacher (1958), I studied Civil Engineering in Istanbul getting a B.S. and got M.E. from Yale in 1963. I worked as a Civil Engineer throughout then and built in Turkey and Saudi Arabia. Now I am semi-retired, but still go to our office every day. With my wife Cigdem, we live at the same address and our office is the same throughout. We have a son (45) living in Istanbul and a daughter (43) living in Berkeley, California, with her family.
