Lynn and Barbara-Sue greatly enjoyed meeting classmates (not ‘old’ classmates) at the 55th. The fragrances of Ojai are wonderful. Lynn’s book about Philippine Politics: Progress and Problems in a Localist Democracy will be published from Routledge before the end of this year. He is now writing about the increasingly lively politics of Hong Kong. The start of 2014 saw the publication of a book by Lynn and his former Princeton students (both former doctoral and undergrad students) who now have solid academic careers in Asian politics and law; that book is called Democratization in China, Korea, and Southeast Asia: Local and National Perspectives.
