My wife Sara and I have been living in the 29 Palms/Joshua tree area for the past eight months–I’ve been working as a joint terminal attack controller with 1st Tank Battalion while she’s been volunteering with the Joshua Tree National Park Association and the Desert Institute. It’s been a great year! We’ll be moving back down to San Diego in August.
