Just a quick note on our successful Reunion Weekend. Michael Kong did a fabulous job on being the spokesperson for the Reunion Weekend. He broke many records in fund raising especially with our class and excelled in his overall speaking and coordinating as the Master of Ceremonies. I was thrilled to give our class speech. After 30 years as a class representative, and the only continuous class Representative since we graduated, it was a tremendous honor to present our class speech. The Class of 1983 has and always will be one of the strongest supportive classes from Thacher. Along with the tireless effort and support of Derick Perry spear heading our alumni weekend, our class of 1983 continues to be one of the greatest classes from Thacher not just in fundraising but in support and contribution to Thacher in all areas. Despite my promise not to brag, I have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed beating the Class of 2008 in a sudden death bear pong competition with Randy Bessolo, the victory was not as sweat as the fact that classes 25 years apart can have an amazing time reflecting on horses and Michael Mulligan. What an exciting time for students and alumni to enjoy and partake in an incredible Reunion Weekend. Thanks to everyone for such a wonderful time. I look forward to shooting a perfect 25 at the trap range, riding with my future college daughter, and my new little baby girl who will be 6 at our next time… and also competing with the class of 2008 and all the classes in Thacher Activities. I tip my cowboy hat to Headmaster Michael Mulligan, Michael Kong, Derick Perry and all the teachers and staff for making our 30 year reunion fantastic. It is an incredible statement to the strength of Thacher to see Michael and Joy Mulligan, Terry and Cricket Twichell, Marvin Shagam, Bob Miller, Peter Robinson and Derick and Molly Twichell.
