Our 50th reunion! Who-da-thunkit? A great two days on campus with plenty of time to catch up, and spend time with Marvin (at long last I feel on strong ground in calling him Marvin) and Black Jack. We saw Bob Miller Friday night, and after Saturday’s banquet, Robin found a way to set up a slide show of our years, while the band was playing. I never knew Joe looked so good in a dress! Robin also gets the award for succinctness in his class toast. We really felt the absence of Ric and Jeff; and Nick, Joe, and Steve spoke poignantly at the remembrance in the Outdoor Chapel. At Marvin’s panel discussion of the Honor Code, he mentioned that students who don’t get to finish the four years with their classmates, often become the most ardent of alumnus. Was he speaking of me? What a conceit. I’m so happy to be included in this group.
