After a somewhat unfocused career that meandered through law, working in the large corporate world (Microsoft, Amazon, and others), and the not-for-profit world (Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation), I’ve finally managed to combine my career with my passion for conservation and tortoises as the Executive Director of the Turtle Conservancy–www.turtleconservancy.org. While our main offices are located in New York, we also operate a captive breeding facility and office located right down the road from Thacher. It’s apparently true – all roads do lead to Thacher. Since I spend much of my time within walking distance of campus, I’ll have no excuse for missing our 35th reunion this June. See you there.
