This summer I married Johnny Bubb, who I met through Northwestern University. It wouldn’t have been a celebration without my Thacher friends, so I’m especially grateful that many of them were able to come! Johnny and I are living in Chicago, where I am currently in my second year of medical school at UIC. In addition to the medical school curriculum, I am working with two of my classmates to expand health education programming, HIV testing, and social support for women at an HIV/AIDS clinic in Humboldt Park. The population served by the clinic is largely Puerto Rican, so I am using my Spanish frequently!
